Sunset at Coast Dairies State Park

by tjphoto on January 7, 2013

What is it about sunsets? We all love ‘em. They are one of the most often photographed scenes in the world – yet we still are compelled to take that picture. I was watching a beautiful sunset this evening. Half the people on the beach had both hands to the sky cradling a smart phone pointed at the sunset. Other than just the sheer beauty of it all, sunsets evoke a sense of peacefulness and an appreciation of the simple things in life. What are your thought about sunsets?

It’s telling that people enjoy sunsets whether they are alone, with someone they love, or with friends. A common bond shared universally.
